Maryland State Forestry Foundation (MDFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Maryland Association of Forest Conservancy District Boards. MDFF is dedicated to promoting responsible forestry practices and increasing Maryland’s forest cover. From advocating for innovative legislation that impacts Forestry in Maryland to overseeing Maryland’s largest private property tree-planting operation, MDFF is committed to making a greener and healthier future.

CHALLENGE

MDFF wanted a reliable website that prioritizes user-friendliness and enables easy content updates and edits. The organization faced the challenge of maintaining consistent online interaction with its community and donors. Additionally, they encountered difficulties in engaging with other forestry organizations statewide and promoting camps and programs. The creation of digital platforms for dynamic content such as workshops, events, and conferences, coupled with the ongoing website maintenance to ensure public accessibility to MDFF programs, posed a complex and time-consuming challenge.
